Chronic outbreak of stage 1 genital herpes!!!?
I had my first outbreak of stage 1 genital herpes in Jan. of 2010. I got it from having oral sex with my husband of 20 years because I cut myself shaving around my genital area and he must have been shedding and the rest is history. Blowed my mind when I found out!! It is now July and around the 16th of July I had my 2nd outbreak. I had surgery for my bladder in May and I think that might have triggered it. I will take valtrex and it will get better and then I stop it comes back. My tailbone aches like crazy too. I have been under a lot of stress but it looks like with the treatment it would go away. I have heard with stage 1 genital herpes it is pretty mild but my has came back with a vengeance. I have been tested and diagnosed with stage 1 genital herpes. Anyone that can give me a insight on this I would appreciate it. Has this happened to anyone else?
I have HSV1 genitally too. I think the surgery would have triggered an out break sooner then that, if you had a strong immune system at the time then you wouldn’t have had an out break or a very sever one. You may have had some recent stress, illness, or had some thing in your diet that triggered an out break. The stress would be the most likely trigger. The first out break is generally the worst then after time the out breaks should get less sever. Some people get lower back pain around the time they have an out break but the tail bone pain could be related to some thing else, say if you fell on it or had some thing bump into your tail bone very hard.
My first 2 out breaks were the worst only because I had an infection in my leg which triggered the second out break.
