hey, im a fermale 22 years old. 6 years ago i was diagnosed with genital herpes (type 1). i haven’t had any other breakouts apart from that first one and ive had 2 relationships since then, one was 3 years and one was 6 months. i told both partners about this and we didn’t use any protection while having sex and neither of them caught it. the doctor told me it is unlikely to pass on type 1 through sex. does anyone have or has a partner who has Genital Herpes Type 1 and has had similair things happen? or have i just been lucky?
I was unlucky enough to get both types of herpes genitally and oral herpes on my mouth. I believe they both came from my current boy friend of 3 over years.
It is possible to pass on oral herpes through sex regardless if you have them orally or genitally.
If you had any signs of an out break while you had sex with your partners then there would be more of a chance of you passing herpes onto them. But there is a very SMALL chance of you passing herpes onto your partner even if you don’t have symptoms or an out break.
However oral herpes is extremely common to have 80-90 percent of the world’s population has it, so there is a good chance that your partners could have had oral herpes. This would make it less likely for them to get oral herpes genitally.
Count yourself lucky that you don’t have both types of herpes and that you didn’t pass herpes onto your partners that you know of.

I’m not only talking about that in respect to herpes, although this is a big part of that. My notion is based around my assumption that most greenhorns have an antipathy for that in regard to using it. It helps prevent these problems as well as cures for herpes enigmas. Herpes is something that most infantile people would contemplate trivial but I feel as if I’ve got a hole in my pocket. Scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. Does that matter to you?
